Chuck was born in 1941 in Blairmore, Alberta. Chuck established Selkirk Beverages in 1975 in Cranbrook which with a hard work ethic grew in to a family business that he passed down to his two children Eric and Joanne and nephew Randy Elliott.

Chuck loved hunting, fishing, huckleberry picking and time out at his cabin on Moyie Lake. He was an avid animal lover especially his bog Bart.

He married his high school sweetheart in 1962 and together they raised two children; Eric and Joanne.

He is survived by his loving wife Donna Olson, children Eric Olson (Donna), Joanne Olson Wills (Scott), and grandchildren Shane Demaniuk, Megan Huk (Brandon), Nick Olson, and three great grandchildren Sawyer, Austin and Levi Huk, best friend brother-in-law Grant Elliott, and friend and sister Betty Wamsley.

He was predeceased by his brother Rick Olson and brother-in-law Rod Elliott.

He will be forever missed.
