The District of Sparwood reports the walking trail located along the north Public Works fence (as identified in red in above image) will be permanently closed effective Friday, February 13, due to the commencement of construction for the wastewater treatment plant upgrades.

Temporary construction fencing will be installed over the weekend, with construction activities scheduled to begin the following week.

The dog park and trails located behind Public Works will remain accessible via Lions Park and Engelmann Spruce Drive.
