Cranbrook Mayoral Candidate Lynnette Wray has released details about her campaign for office this upcoming October (see video below).

Wray described the core values that drive her work, including her belief in the power of community as well as accountability and authenticity, integrity and innovation, and collaboration and courage.

These core values guide Wray’s community involvement, including 10 years on the board of StellerVista Credit Union, serving as Board Chair for the last four years, nine years as the Executive Director of the Community Foundation of the Kootenay Rockies, and the past three and half years as a member of Cranbrook city council.

The theme of Wray’s campaign is “Building our Future Together: An Affordable and Vibrant Community.”

Wray’s five campaign priorities are: Build New Housing; Grow Our Local Economy; Bring Grants and Investments to Cranbrook; Strengthen Community Safety and Well-Being; and Connect with Community Members.

Wray invites community members to connect with her via her campaign email, [email protected], to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing Cranbrook as well as opportunities for individuals to support her campaign.

Wray thanked Mike Paugh for serving as her financial agent.

Wray, who announced her candidacy in mid-January, has shared a video about her campaign.
