Elvis Night in Invermere May 5

Join Invermere Film Festival May 5 as we celebrate Elvis in true 1950s style with an evening of live music, film, and feel-good fun as part of Invermere’s 75th Anniversary.

Local favourites Blue Suede Crew  – Kevin Olson, Bill Cropper, Murray Wittke, Aaron Cameron and Marty Beingessner kick off the night with classic Elvis energy from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Blue Suede Crew has been together since… last Saturday. (Perfect timing for Invermere’s 75th Anniversary celebration!)

Don’t let that fool you though, as these musicians have been playing together for years in different bands.

Their sounds blend folk, country, gospel, rock, and blues into a sound that’s lively, nostalgic, and guaranteed to get your toes tapping.

As one of the band members commented, “I grew up in the 50s and 60s when AM radio ruled and rock ’n roll was brand new.”

This performance is powered by one thing: a shared love of good old Rock and Roll and Elvis Presley making it the perfect kickoff to a night celebrating his legacy.

There will be a TIP JAR to help the band fund their extravagant lifestyles, lol.

At 7 p.m. it is time for the showing of the feature presentation EPiC Elvis Presley in Concert (2025).

Entry is just $7.50 – an easy, fun night out for everyone.

Come early, doors open at 5 p.m. at Columbia Valley Centre  – bring your friends, and enjoy a night of music, memories, and community as we celebrate the King of Rock ’n’ Roll together.

Tickets will also be available at the door.
