Effective at 8 a.m. today (Wednesday, May 6), all load restrictions in Cranbrook have been rescinded.

All streets within the city which had temporary load restrictions in place earlier this year have returned to normal.

These restrictions are put in place each spring during the thaw to help protect roads when melting frost makes the ground underneath the pavement soft and unstable.
