Charles Norman Bichon
It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Charlie Bichon on July 30, 2026, at the age of 82, surrounded by his family.
Charlie was born in Kenora, Ontario to Louis and Camelia Bichon. Charlie enjoyed a career of 35 years riding the rails with Canadian Pacific Railway.
He enjoyed hockey, golfing, bowling, camping, and volunteering in the community.
Charlie leaves behind his loving wife Sheila Bichon, daughter Lana (Brian) Fletcher, son Wade Bichon, grandsons Brennan (Jessie) Fletcher and Justin Fletcher, three brothers Lou (Gail) Bichon, Emile (Loretta) Bichon,
and Leo (Darlene) Bichon, sisters-in-law Darlene Paniec and Judy Twarowski, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlie’s warmth, generosity, and sense of humour will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He will be in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life service will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday, September 4, 2026, at Cranbrook History Centre Alexander Hall in Cranbrook, BC.
