Robert “Bob” Mitchell
It is with profound sadness that we announce that Robert Clarence Mitchell (Bob) peacefully passed away July 28, 2026, surrounded by family at the Fernie District Hospital.
Bob will be fondly remembered by all that knew him, especially the “coffee crew.” He will be missed by his children: Rick (Jeri) Mitchell, Kelly (Terry) White; grandchildren: Lacey Mitchell, Cliff (Kaitlin) Mitchell, Colby White and Sara Michell; great-grandchildren: Haylie (Tyler) Press, Taylor Reed, Treysen Mitchell, Chloe Takala, and Isabelle Takala; great-great grandchildren: RaeLynn and Boden Press along with several more that considered him Papa; siblings, Heather Staples and Tom Mitchell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was predeceased by the love of his life, Anita: parents, Clarence and Ilene Mitchel, and in-laws, Ralph and Mildred Rogers.
