Temporary traffic change on Burdett Street
The City of Kimberley is alerting residents to a temporary traffic change on Burdett Street.
To help reduce traffic congestion on Swan Avenue caused by construction activities on Kimberley Avenue, the city has temporarily opened Burdett Street to two-way traffic for local traffic only.
Commercial vehicles are not permitted to use this route. Pedestrians are encouraged to use the trail on Swan Ave.
This temporary change is intended to improve traffic flow and ease delays for vehicles accessing Wallinger Avenue, the city noted.
“Please pay attention to all posted signage, obey traffic control measures, and use extra caution when travelling through the area.
“We appreciate your patience and cooperation while construction work continues.”
