Rotary Club of Cranbrook Sunrise’s Rockies Film Festival returns to Key City Theatre Wednesday, September 23 with a screening of Dancing on the Elephant.

Dancing on the Elephant is a Canadian comedy-drama.

Faced with a future of chair-exercise and spoon-fed pudding, nursing home friends Nora and Edna attempt to break out of the “fox farm” and find a life worth living.

The film stars Sheila McCarthy as Nora, a woman involuntarily placed in a retirement home by her family, who meets fellow retiree Edna (Mary Walsh) and sets out to reclaim control of her life by embarking on an adventure with her new friend.

The film begins at 7 p.m. Tickets $16.50.
