The BC Green Party candidate for the Oct. 24 provincial election in Kootenay-Rockies is Keenan Dennehy.

Meet Dennehy in his own words.

“I’m Keenan, a Selkirk-trained tradesperson rooted in rural Kootenay life. Working across the polar regions took me far from home, but decades of decline in B.C.’s ecosystems and local economies drew my attention back.

“Through 4theloveofbc.ca and studies in conservation, I work toward forestry reform and lasting local livelihoods. As Greens, we’ll work alongside First Nations to build affordable homes, strengthen local trades and protect the ecosystems our communities depend on.
