Please be advised that Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting crews will be performing major repairs to Frances Bridge on Westside Road, southwest of Radium Hot Springs in the following weeks.

Crews will begin preliminary work on Frances Bridge on Oct. 14 at 7 a.m.

A full closure is to take place on Oct. 19 and will remain in place until November 2.

November 2-6: Bridge will re-open for light traffic (5-ton max).

November 7: Bridge will return to regular use, and all closures will be removed.

Drivers should plan to use an alternate route during this work as no crossing will be available during the full closure at any time.

Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and watch for roadside workers. Please show respect for all roadside crews – Slow Down.
