Cranbrook Community Theatre (CCT) is thrilled to announce our 63rd season of bringing vibrant, live theatre to the heart of our community! We’re inviting passionate and creative production teams to submit proposals to be part of our upcoming season.

Celebrating Canadian Voices: For the 2027–28 season, CCT will accept submissions exclusively for Canadian plays. This special focus is intended to promote Canadian playwrights and showcase the extraordinary theatrical talent found right here in Canada.

What’s in store?

Each season, CCT proudly presents three mainstage productions:

• Fall (Mid-October production dates);
• Winter (Late February production dates);
• Spring (Late May/Early June production dates).

CCT will also consider a “Christmas Special Event” to be performed late November/early December.

Who can apply?

Production teams typically consist of a Director and a Producer. While having both roles filled is ideal, we welcome submissions from teams still in formation. Proposed productions must be Canadian plays by Canadian playwrights. New to directing or producing? No problem—mentorship is available to support emerging artists!
