Rocky Mountain (School District No. 6) School Board of Trustees will feature six familiar faces and three new ones following the Oct. 17 general election.

Three incumbent trustees were re-elected: Darryl P Oakley – Area 2 (Kimberley and Area E of the RDEK) 2,576 votes; Ron McRae – Area 2 (Kimberley and Area E of the RDEK) – 2,484; and Amber Byklum – Area 4 (Canal Flats and Area F of the RDEK) – 510.

Four trustees were acclaimed: Jane Fearing – Area 1 (Golden and Area A of the CSRD); Scott M King – Area 1 (Golden and Area A of the CSRD); Noelle Smith – Area 1 (Golden and Area A of the CSRD); and Jane Thurgood Sagal – Area 5 (Radium Hot Springs and Area G of the RDEK).

Newly elected: Glenna C McClenahan – Area 2 (Kimberley and Area E of the RDEK) – 1,808 votes; and Justin Woodman – Area 3 (District of Invermere)- 597.
