Fuel stolen from Wycliffe area farm

rcmplogoKimberley RCMP is seeking assistance from the public regarding the theft of fuel that occurred sometime between 11 p.m. Friday, June 7 and 5 a.m. Saturday, June 8.

The culprits cut the lock off a tidy tank mounted on the back of a farm truck and stole approximately 300 litres of fuel from in front of a residence on Porteous Road in Wycliffe.

The culprits also stole a Visa card and cash from another vehicle at the same residence that was left unlocked.

Police are reminding people not to store valuables in their vehicles and to keep their vehicles locked when unattended.

Anyone with information with respect to this incident is being asked to contact the Kimberley RCMP or Crimestoppers.
