It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John “Ian” Robertson on August 19, 2013 at the age of 70 years. Ian was a family man; he adored his daughters and had a very special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He was a welder by trade and was a long time and well respected employee of Transwest/SMS. In his spare time, when not with his wife and family, he loved to golf. He is survived by his loving wife Carol, daughters; Lindsay Halvorsen (Derrick) and Jamie Robertson (Brett Paton), as well as grandchildren; Olivia, Alyssia and Sofia Halvorsen and Riley and Cash Paton. Also left to mourn his passing, are his brother Ned Robertson and sister Wilma Lambden (Gary).
