RCMP investigate travel trailer fire
On October 26, at 12:20 p.m., Cranbrook RCMP responded to a report of a vehicle fire at a campsite located at 2100 Northstar Lake Forest Service Road, Jaffray. A white 2007 Dutchman travel trailer was discovered completely burnt at site No. 11. No injuries were reported.
Witness accounts revealed that a female associated to a lime green travel trailer and a light blue, older model pickup truck was seen within the campsite prior to the fire ignition. Currently it is unknown if said female is related to the fire or has any knowledge of it.
Cranbrook RCMP are requesting that any persons with information on the incident, namely any additional persons who witnessed the incident to contact the Cranbrook RCMP at 250-489-3471 or if anonymity is desired, to contact CrimeStoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS [8477].
