What an Awesome Auction
Las Vegas came to St. Eugene Resort and Casino’s Pavilion Nov. 16 during the annual Awesome Auction.
The largest fundraiser of the year for the Cranbrook and District Chamber of Commerce, the Awesome Auction, the brainchild of Jason Wheeldon, was once again a successful and delightful time for 120 or so folks in attendance.
The event features a series of gambling tables, with guests using special Awesome Auction dollars provided at the start of the evening. The luckiest compile massive sums of money to use at the end of the event – to spend on a variety of big-ticket auction items, donated by local businesses. Wheeldon, Jay Savage and D’Arcy Kennedy worked the floor during the auction.
In addition, several dozen more Cranbrook and area businesses provided a wide range of goods and services for the silent auction.
The St. Eugene Pavilion provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of dining, dancing, support, fun and spending.
