Ice Bucket Challenge launches school year at COTR

COTR Walls IceBucketCollege of the Rockies President and CEO David Walls kicked off the new school year on September 2 by accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge in recognition of the fight against ALS with members of the Women’s Avalanche volleyball team more than happy to provide a helping hand.

President Walls has now challenged City of Cranbrook Mayor Wayne Stetski. Video of the challenge can be found on the college’s Facebook page.

COTR PresCouncilIceBucketLeft: College of the Rockies President’s Council members (l-r) Vice President Finance Dianne Teslak, Dean of Instruction Dr. Marilyn Petersen and Executive Director, International and Regional Development Patricia Bowron accepted Selkirk College President Angus Graeme’s Ice Bucket Challenge on August 27.  The President’s Council members stepped in to recognize the fight against ALS on behalf of President and CEO David Walls who was out of the country at the time.
