About the B.C. jobs plan…

1. Last week government released the BC Jobs Plan Three-Year Update, with a focus on strategic sectors of B.C.’s economy to create long-term, well-paying jobs that strengthen families and communities.
2. Today there are 2.3 million people working in B.C.; $3.9 billion in economic growth last year; $7.2 billion in economic expansion since 2011, and more than 50,000 new jobs since August 2011.
3. The provincial government has also created a new forum – the BC Job Makers Section of the website – through it, small and medium sized business can share their success stories with government and each other.
