Kaitlyn Zurrin, a Grade 12 Mount Baker Secondary School student, is presented with a $250 tuition award by College of the Rockies’ Recruitment Officer Rusty Gahr. Zurrin won the award in a draw at the College’s recent Open House. She plans to use the money toward one or two years of University Studies courses at COTR, taking advantage of lower tuition and smaller class sizes, before transferring to a university to complete her degree, likely in Interior Design.
