h day played another role.
February can be a bit of everything in this region – from flat out balmy and bizarre to Rocky Mountain frozen; flirtations with all types of winter weather.
February 2012 won’t go down as the best or the worst on record. It was a fairly even month with just enough winter to sate the snow worshippers and enough warm spells to bolster the spirits of those who dream of warmer months ahead.
This month e-KNOW showcases images from Bummer Flats/Fort Steele, Radium Hot Springs, Invermere, Elkford, Fernie, Wycliffe, Kimberley, Cranbrook, Ha Ha Creek/Mayook, White Swan, Koocanusa, Wasa/Ta Ta Creek, Skookumchuck and Wardner.
