Obituary for Barney EyfordBarney “BID” Eyford age 86 of Wasa, BC, passed away on December 2, 2014 at Joseph Creek Care Village with family by his side. He was born on February 20, 1928 in Grosmont, AB.

Bid started out trucking and owned his own company delivering groceries in the Northwest Territories for the Hudson Bay Company. He then moved to BC in the 1970’s and did some logging, commercial fishing, and water well drilling. Later he moved down to Wasa where he and his business partner operated a large cedar shake business.

He was a hard working man who loved his children and especially his grandchildren.

Barney leaves to mourn his passing, his wife and best friend Donna, his children Cyndi, Patti, Shane (Julie), Marlene (Gary), and Lydia (Randy), and Donna’s children Tammy (Steve) and Keith and his much loved grandchildren.

There will be no funeral service by request. Those wishing to make a memorial donation in Barney’s honour, may do so to the charity of your choice.
