The seventh annual Reel Canadian Film Festival takes a more focused approach, featuring only films with a strong Canadian connection.

The festival, running Jan. 16-18 at The Vogue Theatre, welcomes Canada to Fernie for a showcase of film excellence and a schedule packed with entertaining, challenging and exceptional work.

The Opening Night Gala Friday will feature a the premier of award winning B.C. film: When the Ocean Met the Sky.  Festival organizers are bringing in special guests screenwriter/actor Phillip Thomas, Terry Field and Caitlyn Das from the film.

Our program will feature five feature films; shorts from filmmakers around Canada; and our gala and closing receptions.
