Obituary for Walter Elmer Nightingale

It is with deep sorrow that the family of Walter Nightingale announces his passing on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Cranbrook.

Walter was born on November 21, 1937 in Okla, Saskatchewan.

Walter and his family lived in Cranbrook and ran a successful trucking business for 23 years. He retired in 1993. In March 2012 Walter moved into Joseph Creek Village.

Walter is predeceased by his daughter Janice, his eldest sister Bessie Child, his sister Ethel Cook, his brothers Dennis (Peg), Dick (Dianne) and Larry (Ernestine) and his parents. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife of 56 years Anne, his son Clinton (Gloria), grandson Michael (Carole) and their son Jo-Jack, his sisters Iris (Bill), June (Cliff), Nancy (Bob) and Barb.

Walter will remembered by his many friends and relatives. He will be missed by all who knew him.

There will be no funeral at Walter’s request. He will be interred in the spring of 2015.
