Birds
By Kyla Cornish
Most of the time I have a good idea what my kids are thinking.
I know when Whirlwind is upset.
I can tell when Baby Bot has had his feelings hurt.
Hell, I can even tell when they have to poop.
But, today?
No clue.
Just out of the blue while cuddling on the couch, Whirlwind got really angry.
Whirlwind is seven and she keeps us on our toes, but I was pretty surprised to hear where her anger was directed.
“Birds…” She said in a whispered, angered tone.
“Mmmhmmm.” I said tickling her arm.
And then out she snapped this… “WHY DO BIRDS GET TO POOP WHERE EVER THEY WANT AND I CAN’T?”
Seriously.
Was she really mad because she can’t poop anywhere she wants? Does my daughter really just want to drop drawer anywhere she wants?
I’m going to go purchase a pooper-scooper.
If you like this sort of poop talk you should really read this and this and of course definitely this.
