Two people were taken to East Kootenay Regional Hospital following a lunchtime accident on Willowbrook Drive in Cranbrook Dec. 28.

Cranbrook Fire and Emergency Services, Cranbrook RCMP and two BC Ambulance Service ambulances responded to the noon hour crash that closed the road briefly.

The driver of the Chevrolet sedan was taken to hospital and the passenger remained in the vehicle while a second ambulance arrived. The passenger required special care and was moved to a stretcher and later transported to EKRH.
