Cranbrook RCMP Report
The following is a synopsis of calls received by Cranbrook RCMP for the week of (from 6 a.m.) March 14 to 6 a.m., March 21.
The detachment received 109 calls for service throughout the week.
Among the calls police handled:
One Immediate Roadside Prohibition (alcohol related);
One collision – two vehicle accident, one driver charged for driving without due care and attention;
Eight Mental Health calls – two apprehended in total;
Six assault complaints: two domestic in nature;
Seven thefts reported: two were unfounded reports;
Two break and enters reported – one related to a domestic issue/one was an abandoned building;
Two fraud complaints;
One drug seizure –marijuana;
One arson (more information forthcoming);
One prolific offender arrested (more information forthcoming);
Lots of traffic enforcement over the week; mostly warnings given for now.
