Winter conditions return to some area highways

Limited visibility with heavy snowfall was DriveBC’s report for the section of Highway 93/95 from the junction of Highway 95A and Canal Flats earlier this morning.
DriveBC’s highway camera shows a fairly healthy dump of snow has fallen on Kimberley overnight.
All other regional highways are reporting okay conditions, with some areas having wet highways as snow has fallen overnight in most areas.
Areas to the west have experienced more snowfall, such as Paulson Summit (pictured). Salmo Creston (Highway 3 – lead image) is open but DriveBC reports it having compact snow with slippery sections.
Please drive carefully and be aware that conditions can change dramatically on regional highways depending on elevation and local weather conditions.
