Judith (Judy) Myrna Charlotte Cross
August 8, 1942 — November 4, 2025
It is with sadness the family of Judy Cross announce her passing. She was born in Nelson, BC, the eldest child of Fred and Josephine Fransen. After graduating from high school, Judy attained her teaching certificate at UBC before marrying the love of her life, John Cross. She taught in the Nelson area for a few years, then dedicated her life to the raising of their four children. They resided in Nelson area until relocating to Cranbrook in 1987. Judy was known for her fabulous cooking and baking, as well as her impressive vegetable garden and beautiful flowers.
Judy was predeceased by her husband John, her parents Fred and Josephine, and her sister Sheila. She is survived by her siblings Thor (Judy), Freda and Linnea (Craig), her children Jennifer (Kevin), Carolyn, John (Katy) and Andrew (Jen), her grandsons Cale, Austin and Spencer, her extended family and friends.
A private internment will take place in Nelson at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a charity in her name.
