It is with the deepest sorrow that the family of Brian Dahl announces his passing on July 1, 2018 at his home in Edgewater, BC at 75 years of age.

Brian was born in Kelvington, SK on May 20, 1943. He moved to the Columbia Valley in 1958 and married to Sharon on August 1, 1964. Brian was devoted to his family; he loved spending time with family and friends on the farm. He also enjoyed riding horses, camping, fishing and taking wagon trips with the family in tow, and wintering in Arizona the last 4 years.

Brian is survived by his loving wife Sharon, his son Keith (Jamie Baes), daughter Lynette Durning (John), grandchildren Brittany and Jessica Durning (Todd Ross) and Kjell Dahl, great-grandchildren Knox Durning and Kennedie Ross; his sisters Denise Hiron and Lou Buzzel (Evan), many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Norman Dahl, his mother Blanche Dahl and his sisters Lenore Ericson and Darlene Devlin.

A gathering to celebrate Brian’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Edgewater Community Hall, 4818 – Selkirk Avenue, in Edgewater, BC. Memorial donations in his honour can be made to the Invermere Hospital Auxiliary.
