Brian Thomas Carlson passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019. Brian was born in Kimberley on August 3, 1968 where he lived for most of his life. Brian’s family and friends are mourning his sudden death in a motor vehicle accident at the age of 50.
Brian was a gentle, wise man with the capacity for unconditional acceptance of those he knew. He is survived by his partner, Yuko, his sons Drake and Silas, their mother Yuiko as well as stepson Tsuyoshi; his brothers Brad (Grisy), David (Erin), mother Ruth Carlson, father Dave Carlson (Carol); nephew Jakob and niece Taylor. He is lovingly remembered by his aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Brian’s Celebration of Life will be held at the Kimberley United Church on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 4:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Brian’s memory to the Kimberley Food Bank or the BC Children’s Hospital.
