Horst Herbert Namislo was born on April 16, 1937 in Berlin, Germany and passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook.  Herb came to Canada in 1957 and opened his own business.  He ran a general painting service for many years.  Herb married Joanne Gall in 1964 and they celebrated 56 years together in July.

Herb leaves to mourn his loving wife Joanne as well as his children; his son Ken Namislo (Fiona Ln) and his daughter Carrie Valin as well as five grandchildren.  There will be no funeral service at Herb’s request.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Herb’s memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, #102 – 105 9^th Ave. S., Cranbrook, BC  V1C 2M1 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, 360-1385 West 8th Avenue, Vancouver, BC V6H 3V9
