With great sorrow we must announce the peaceful passing of Jean-Marie Tardif (John). He passed away at Joseph Creek Care Village on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at the age of 88 years following a short but courageous battle with cancer.
John will be lovingly remembered by his 11 children: Francine (Andre), Claire, Dorise (Tom), Laurence (Dan), Jean-Yves (Tracy), Guy (Annette), Francis (Margaret), Gaetan (Dorothy), Nathalie (Jim), Martin and Martine (Ross). He will also be lovingly remembered by his 27 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
John was predeceased by his wife Bertha and his sons Gilles-Paul, Gilles and Claude.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 11:00 am at Christ the Servant Catholic Church, 1100 – 14th Ave. S. in Cranbrook. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Cranbrook at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #202 – 105 9th Ave. S., Cranbrook, BC V1C 2M1.
