Jewel Delaine SHEPHERD

With loved ones at her bedside, Jewel Delaine Shepherd passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10th at the age of 49 following a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Regina, SK on June 2, 1971.

Jewel was a friend to many, a stranger to none. Lively and outgoing, Jewel will always be remembered for her genuine, loving heart and her beautiful smile. She enjoyed friendly competition and won many billiard and softball tournaments throughout the years, always having a great time with her fellow teammates. Jewel was often seen strolling around town, sharing friendly conversation with her many friends and acquaintances, and more often than not, greeting them with one of her infamous hugs! She will be forever missed by all who loved her.

Jewel is survived by her 3 sons: Joel, Brendan, and Daniel, sisters Merla (Virgil), Delphine (Ken), and Mel, and by her partner and friend, Bill Brulotte. She was predeceased by her mom Susan Walker, her stepfather Robert Walker and her brother Ellery Shepherd as well as many other extended family members.
