Maureen Yvonne Gordon passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 8th, 2018.

Maureen was born January, 7th 1949 in Penticton, BC. She is lovingly remembered for her strength, fantastic sense of humour, infectious laugh and her love of family the great outdoors and Christmas. Maureen was the 3rd sibling of 8 children born to Annemarie and Cornelis van Unen.

Maureen is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Jim; daughter Talia O’Donoghue (Trevor), granddaughter Payton and grandson Riley; son Tom Gordon (Kylene), granddaughters Kylie and Kaycie; brothers Casey (Angie), Rick (Bev), Fred and Jim (Sue); sisters Annemarie Holmwood and Nanci Sebo; sister-in-law Jeannie Dallyn (Rick Schick); numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

She is predeceased by her parents Annemarie and Cornelis, her sister Carey Garner, mother-in-law Blanche Gordon and brother-in-law Donald Gordon.

A Celebration of Life is to be held at 1:00 on Tuesday, September 18th at McPherson Funeral Home (2200 – 2nd Street South) in Cranbrook, BC.
