Ken Jorgenson passed away peacefully at East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook on Sunday, June, 25, 2017.

Ken was born on December 31, 1939 in Port Arthur, Ontario to Martin and Nikka Jorgenson. Ken married Joan Ford on March 14, 1959 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He was employed at Crestbrook Forest Industries for 30 years. He enjoyed being a local musician for many years, and was an avid golfer.

Ken was predeceased by his sister Elen and brothers Norris and Magnus. He is survived by wife of 58 years Joan, his sons Jeff and Gary (Tracii), daughters Debbie Hope (Kyle) and Jodi Johnston, grandson Erik Johnston, granddaughters Kodi Hope (Anthony), Kaylee Hope, Naomi Johnston (Austin), and Julia Serrano (Mike), great grandson Ethan Serrano, several nieces and nephews, his sister Joan Hanchar (Rick), and brothers Arnold (Shelby) and Alvin (Bernice).

At Ken’s request there will be no service. Donations in his honour can be made to your charity of choice.
