Agnes Elizabeth KOMAREVICH

It is with great sadness that the family of Agnes Elizabeth Komarevich announce her passing on February 15th, 2021 at the age of 86 years. She was a courageous soul that lost her battle to cancer.

Agnes was born and raised in Fernie BC where she met and married her soulmate, William (Bill) Komarevich, who predeceased her in 1994. In 2001 Agnes moved to Kelowna where she made a warm home with her partner Sepp Braun. They enjoyed many adventures together until his passing in 2017.

Agnes worked for the CIBC bank in Fernie for over 35 years where she met numerous people, many that she kept in contact until her final days. She had the gift of gab and loved to chat with everyone. Her bright and witty personality will be remembered by all that knew her.

Agnes is survived by her son Allan and his wife Kim, many family members and close lifelong friends.

Due to the pandemic and Agnes’ request, a private family service will be held. Family and friends that are unable to attend will be encouraged to honor Agnes in their own special way. In keeping with her wishes to be buried near Bill, she will be laid to rest at St. Margaret’s Cemetery in Fernie, BC.
