Alceo “Archie” DEANNA

Alceo DeAnna, aka Archie by his family and friends, was born May 15, 1933 in the family home. Archie passed away peacefully on November 1, 2021 at the age of 88. He is lovingly survived by his brother Ezner DeAnna and numerous nephews and nieces.

Archie completed high school in Michel/Natal, BC. As a young man he began working at the local sawmill, and then spent the rest of his career as a custodian for the School District of Sparwood until retiring in 1993.

Archie had a passion for gardening, and his yard was a testament to that passion. He loved bowling, and enjoyed socializing and catching up on the latest news. Archie enjoyed the valley and all it had to offer. He shared many fishing and hunting adventures with family and friends.

Archie loved his extended family; he was a kind man with a big heart. He will be missed dearly and is beloved by his family and many friends.
