With heavy hearts we announce that Charlotte Tiffin passed away peacefully at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C. on Saturday July 4th.

Born on May 30, 1934, she lived her whole life in the Cranbrook area. Charlotte graduated from Mount Baker High School, married Bill Tiffin in 1955. Together they had four children; Bert (Cindy), Brian (Vicki), Mary Anne (Dennis), and Betty Jean. Charlotte was also a steady member of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She loved all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren and always loved doing things with the kids. From baking in the kitchen, to picking huckleberries or even white-water rafting.

Charlotte is survived by her children, grandchildren Stacey, Nicki, Dustin, Chad, Gayle and Candice, as well as great grandchildren Kirin, Lexi, Keaten, Carson, Breyden, Daekon, Shelby, Kassidy, and Jordy.

She was predeceased by her husband Bill, grandson Justin, and brother Billy as well as sisters Betty and Elva.

We extend a special thanks to niece Suzy Gex-Collet and her family for the care and love they showed in the hospital, as well as to the palliative care unit nurses and doctors.
