Colin Anthony Hedman

December 3, 1981 – March 12, 2021

We are saddened to share that Colin passed away at his home on March 12, 2021. He was born and raised in Cranbrook. Colin always had an adventurous spirit. He traveled to South America and went to China to teach English as a second language. That is where he met his wife, Wei Hong and brought her back to Canada to start their family. He was a gentle and loving person, who cared for his family and friends. Colin loved the outdoors, spending time fishing, hiking, and backwoods camping.

Colin leaves behind his wife, Wei Hong, and children Olivia and Dimitri. He is also survived by his loving parents Tess and Lorne Hedman, Sister Melissa (Chris), Brothers Bryon and Adam (Stacey), his wife’s family in China, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. He is also survived by his special sister Miyuki and her family in Japan, as well as his good friend and hiking buddy Shawn.

Due to the current covid restrictions, a private family service will be held at a later date.
