Obituary of Daniel Kenneth Rohrick
Daniel Kenneth Rohrick
Daniel Kenneth Rohrick, of Invermere, BC, passed away on his 93rd birthday at Columbia House in Invermere. He was born August 31, 1933.
Dan enjoyed life, laughed often and sang while he worked. For many years he ran an appliance repair business and the extrovert in him made friends with the town. He cared about his customers and often bailed out restaurants and stores on evenings and weekends, or gave free service calls for those whose finances were tight.
He loved the Windermere Valley, enjoyed long walks in the woods and was frequently seen gazing at the mountains. He didn’t travel much because, “Why would you want to go anywhere else when you live here?”
Dan is survived by his son Larry (Karyn) & three grandsons (Kelton, Greydon & Kierce); daughter Lisa; sisters Mary and Lorraine; and by many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by Lenore, his wife of 69 years (on August 7, 2026), his parents Adam and Mary Rohrick, and by seven siblings.
We would like to thank Dr. Brown and the team at Columbia House for their compassionate and excellent care of Dad over the last five years. He is now home with Jesus where he longed to be.
A Memorial Service was held for Dan and his wife Lenore, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Lake Windermere Alliance Church, Invermere.
