Dianne BLONDEAU

It is with sadness that we share the passing of Dianne Cecilia Blondeau (née Guest) on February 26, 2021 in Fernie, BC at the age of 65.

Dianne is survived by her husband Maurice (Moe) Blondeau (Sparwood, BC), son Joshua (Caeli) Blondeau (Sparwood, BC), daughter Mallory (James) Blondeau (Victoria, BC), grandson William Blondeau (Sparwood, BC) and siblings Ginny (Sieds) Tamsma (Woodville, ON) and Sjaan (Mike) Protulipac (Winnipeg, MB).

She is preceded in death by her mother Bastiaantja (Jane) Kouwenhoven, father Edward Guest, brother Albert Guest and twin sister Anne Todd.

Dianne was born on March 14, 1955 in Lindsay, ON. She moved to Hinton, AB in 1981, where she met Maurice. They married in Hinton, AB in 1983 and had two children, Joshua, and Mallory.

Dianne will be lovingly remembered as a kind, gentle and caring soul. She was a talented baker and enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting. In her later years, Dianne also enjoyed being wheeled around the Fernie disc golf course and making awesome closing putts.

Dianne’s family will be holding a private memorial. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Huntington Society of Canada.
