Estelle passed away peacefully at McKenny Creek Hospice, Maple Ridge, B.C after a lengthy battle with Leukemia on February 11,2026.

Estelle was born in Hearst Ontario, August 15,1944 to Allen and Margaret McKenzie.

Estelle loved her bowling, she competed in many tournaments and won numerous awards. She still held top women’s triple of 1121 to this Day. She was an avid fan of curling, and never missed a day watching it. She loved to bake and every-one loved her goodies. She crocheted many beautiful blankets as well as dishcloths that she gave to family and friends. Craft fairs were another passion of hers. Estelle loved to play 31, and go to bingo back in the day. Another enjoyment of hers was to meet up with friends for coffee at Timmies while still living in Cranbrook.

Estelle leaves to mourn her sons, Rod, Ron and her daughter Laura. Her grandchildren, Brandon, Kelte, Amanda, Jamie,Kaitlyn , JD, Tracy ,Paetonn, Austin and Mallory. Her great-grandchildren, Riya, Rylee, Zoie, Jessie, Ellie, Jovanni, Irelynn, Bennett, Jamie, Troy, Huxson, Haisley and Colter. Brothers, Allen, Patrick, Michael, sister JoAnne and numerous nieces and nephews.

Estelle was predeceased by her son Gary. Her sisters Marge, Gerri and Brothers Jim, Will as well as her parents Allen and Margaret McKenzie.

A Celebration of life will be held in the spring in Maple Ridge. Date to be determined.
