She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke, always with a sparkle in her eye. Gert was a devoted caregiver, a loving mother and grandmother, always ready to give the most fantastic hugs to her loved ones. She enjoyed many years of camping, fishing, and swimming with her family and friends. She was a good cook and an excellent baker, well-known for her delicious pies. Gert always loved company and a game of cards.
