Irene was born in Chatham Kent England May 28, 1944, and emigrated to Canada where she met and married her husband Joe in 1966 while working in Hamilton. She worked in several office jobs but enjoyed driving the school bus and being a mum.  She also liked cooking, sewing, and traveling with friends and family.

Irene is survived by her husband Joe, daughter Lani and son Brendan. She is predeceased by her parents Frank and Sybil.

In accordance with her wishes there will be no funeral service.
