Obituary of Larry Dale Symbalisty

With sadness we announce the passing of Larry Dale Symbalisty on February 2, 2020 in Cranbrook, B.C.
Larry was born in Manitoba Canada in 1955 and eventually made his way to the Kootenay area. Larry lived in Trail B.C., and Creston B.C., before moving to Cranbrook in 2014.
Upon moving to Cranbrook, Larry became a well known face in the community. Larry was always up for a conversation over a cup of coffee with anyone he met. Larry had a great sense of humor that was evident in his playful nature. You could often find Larry on his scooter around town looking for bottles to recycle. He enjoyed doing this so much to pass his time and make a little extra spending money that his neighbours would bring him their recycling.
Larry preferred to be busy, he was happy to have his paper shredding job at Blade Runner where he was very proud to have recently retired from. Larry enjoyed western movies and antiques such as clocks and radios. Larry loved wearing and collecting wrist and pocket watches. Larry loved a warm pair of gloves and a warm jacket. Larry was also a man of many hats, but his favorite attire was western wear with a snappy new cowboy hat and pair of cowboy boots. Larry was loved by many people in this community and the communities he lived in previously. Larry’s charming personality, warm smile and loving nature will be greatly missed but always remembered by all that have had the pleasure of meeting him.
There will be a service in honour of Larry on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at 1:00pm at McPherson Funeral Services, in Cranbrook. B.C.
