Obituary of Linda Rae Marcella Tuffnell
August 24, 1949 – March 10, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our much-loved sister.
Linda was born at the St. Eugene Hospital in Cranbrook, B.C., on August 24, 1949 and passed in Creston, B.C on March 10, 2021.
She never had children of her own but was a mom to many children over the years. Her favorite pastimes included reading books, playing with children, and listening to good music. She loved her purple hair and a good joke. Linda made the best homemade bread and world class soup. Linda’s family was her whole world.
She will be greatly missed by her brother Terrence Hern, sister April (Lyle) Uri, brothers-in-law Brendan Keane, and Marcel Michaud, her many nieces and nephews and her great great niece Grace.
She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy & Francis Hern, her brother Brian Hern, sisters Darlene Keane and Sharon Michaud, and her grandparents.
As per Linda’s request there will be no services. Interment will take place in Prince George at a later date.
