Obituary of Margaret Evelyn Howie
1957 – 2021
Margaret Evelyn Howie passed away on May 8, 2021 in Cranbrook, B.C., just shy of her 64th birthday.
Margaret was born on June 10, 1957 in Prince George, B.C. Margaret was born in Prince George but spent most of her childhood in Hope, B.C. She moved to Cranbrook in 1979 and has lived here ever since. Margaret loved animals, all shapes, and sizes. She has adopted many animals throughout her life. Margaret loved horses and had a special way with all animals. Her house was always home to any strays. She was a friend to all and was always making crafts or baking for her friends and neighbors. Margaret had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She was a fighter having survived H1N1 many years ago. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Jennifer and siblings Stanley Howie, David Howie, and Julie (Brent) Maxwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Irvine Robert Howie and Mary Caroline Bonner.
A Celebration of Life for Margaret will take place at a later date.
