Marion (Henrietta) Hamm

We are saddened to announce the passing of (Henrietta) Marion Hamm, who entered into the presence of our Lord surrounded by her family on March 30, 2025 in Cranbrook, BC at the age of 92.

Marion was born in Red Deer, AB on January 29, 1933 to Archie and Catherine Philip, the third of four children, Gordon, Margaret, Marion and Ronald

In 1956, on October 20, Marion married George Hamm. Together for 68 years, they had four boys: Bruce (Melissa), Brad (Diane), Barry (Marlene), and Brian (Christina).

George and Marion raised their family mainly in Pambrun, SK and 100 Mile House, BC, although they travelled and worked extensively around the world, eventually making their way through over 30 countries.

Marion is predeceased by her parents, siblings, one grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived and missed by her husband, four sons, their wives, eight grandchildren, six and one-half great grandchildren, and many in-laws, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Cranbrook Fellowship Baptist Church on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 1:00PM. A link to a recording of the service will be available upon request.
