The Kootenay Children’s Festival will once again light up Cranbrook with fun May 8 and 9 at Rotary Park.
Kootenay Children’s Festival is one of the last remaining free children’s festivals in British Columbia. Free admission and entertainment is one of the ways Kootenay Children’s Festival makes the event accessible to so many.
On hand to entertain this year are Robin Layne and the Rhythm Makers, a high-energy percussion group who turn everyday objects into music you can feel. Kids don’t just watch – they jump, clap, stomp, and play along in a full-body rhythm experience. It’s loud, joyful, and the kind of fun that leaves kids buzzing with excitement.
